Tonight's surprisngly good crowd attendance was a supporters vote in favour of Telstra over the SCG. I reckon it would have been 10,000 less if it had been played at the SCG. I hope the club takes note and we get more games at Telstra next year.

It is not rocket science as to why we get good crowds at Homebush. If you have a ground where you know you will be able to get in, you will be more than likely to go, right. we'd have gotten 26-28k at the scg at best. At Homebush you can bring friends to the game. You know you can get a seat for them near or next to you.
As Blinddog alluded to, there are still things that the club should look at as regards Telstra Stadium, but overall the proof is in the pudding. The crowds are still coming to Homebush despite often ordinary football.
Despite its fallbacks the ground is just a better place to watch football at that the antiquated old dinosaur that is the SCG. With BennyW gets going with the drum, it echos at Homebush as well. Sounds great when everyone joins in.
