They weren't horrible, it was a pretty good Showdown, but they were playing a side that had 24 players to pick from. When Port really put it to them they didn't have much to throw back at them.

yes, Adelaide were really that bad! they played really badly and they have been playing like that for a while now ... they also picked up quite a few injuries especially one to trent hentchell(??) that is certain to end his season ..... it looked really bad. a west coast win virtually assures us of a top 4 finish which would be awesome and we would probably end up playing WC.

problem is that with Adelaide's injuries Melbourne now have a better chance of winning and therefore finishing higher than us and maybe pushing us out of the 4....

Hence why I'd definitely prefer WC beating Freo today

Also something to note is by the time Sydney play they'll pretty much know exactly who's in the final 4 - because all the teams (bar Collingwood) are playing on the Friday and Saturday.

We still need either Freo to lose one of their last two matches or Adelaide to beat Melbourne to finish fourth. Because both are above us (or have a game in hand in Freo's case) on points.

Neither is going to happen. Freo are all over WC and Adelaide are a mess and probably wont beat Melbourne so we wont make the top 4. It's their own fault for all the losses that they shouldn't have had.

Freo are belting WCE so we're down to two chances. And Freo will beat PA at subi. So that leaves a limping out of form Crows to beat Melbourne with Neitz back. I think we better start preparing for a game against the bullies in the first week! I don't like the feel of things.

I blame selection policy in two key games: WC and Geelong.( ie Roos)

Get a reality check. Midfield was poor in the Geelong game and Davis would not have made a difference there.
