i heard an interview with him after the game and he said this was the first pre-season that he trained for as a midfielder - he lost 2kg and he reckons that has made a massive difference in his endurance

he's going bloody well at the moment and i hope he continues his form next week and into the finals - he's gonna cause massive headaches for our opponents if he keeps going like this.......

But who gets the 3 points. The only other choice would be O'Keefe and he had a quiet 1st half and a ripping second. I though Goodes had the highest influence on the game and would therefore IMO get the 3 points

Goodes was simply awesome in the first half last night.

I got the impression in the second half that it was a bit of a case of 'job done'. The Brions were clearly broken, so why keep up the intensity level of the first half.

If it were up to me, there would be no choice in my mind as to who gets the 3 votes. Watching him burst through contests was just amazing last night. If I were a Carlton fan ( ), I would be seriously concerned for what he could do on Sunday!

The bloke is a champion and should already be regarded as an all time great of the club.

I wonder if they are offering odds on a Brownlow - Norm Smith - Premiership medal treble for Goodsey.

I got him at $81 and am now wishing I had a bigger plunge.

He has to have best on ground votes from the melbourne and brsbane games of last three weeks and must pick up some ones and twos in a lot of our wins. We have won enough games to share a lot of votes around as well. Bolton will get votes early in the season, Hall hasnt had that many big games, O' Keefe will take some votes
