    I agree. And Adelaide will be playing with with the knowledge that there are some great players missing, and will throw everything at Melbourne.

    Let's not forget this is the same Melbourne we smashed at the MCG three weeks ago, who then faltered against the Roos reserve team, and gave up a massive lead against Geelong to barely scrape out a draw. They show the worst form of any top 8 side ATM IMO.

                God isn't going to help us this time aroud ( well he might haha) I think we have to make do with what comes to us & if 5th spot seems the finish then let it be.

                                5th would most likely see us:

                                vs WB at TS week 1: VERY WINNABLE
                                vs Melbourne at MCG week 2: WINNABLE (Dees will be coming back from Perth)
                                vs Adelaide or most likely Freo at SUBIACO: HARD

                                Then back up for a Grand Final in Melbourne against St Kilda or West Coast.

                                That is a draw from hell.

                                    With the range of possibilities after round 22 (and worse, after week one of the finals) I'm not sure it's even worth trying to guess what will happen.

                                                The bonus this year is that our last two games of the regular season are at home. Last year we were in Melbourne (v Hawks) for Round 22, then followed this up with a trip to Perth. Also two trips to Melbourne (Prelim & Granny).

                                                So it seems if we can keep winning from 5th spot (if we don't make top 4) we will have to travel to the same places only in a different sequence.

                                                May actually be better finishing 5th than 4th as we will possibly miss two trips Interstate (to places other than Melbourne.)
