    Crouch interview on SEN

Did any1 else hear Crouch 10 minutes ago on SEN? It was a very strong interview where Jared argued his oppinions on the whole drug policy. A lady from the Sydney Morning Herald was also on and to say they dissagreed on most points is an understatement. I am so proud Jared has the guts to stand up and say what he believes. They asked him if now that the AFL won the drug rights if he would now reveal his injury. He again said no as media still publish faulse information. It was funny he responded immediatly NO.
    Great interview

Yeah he came to my youth group last year and one thing was clear, and that was his strong moral ethics. He has such a strong conviction towards his opinions, gotta respect the man for that.

Hmm a little bit dramatic. We may now have the media forging drug test results for the sake of a story? oh Jared.

And while I'm on it, if he is so concerned about lies being reported about his injury, why doesn't he just come out and say what it is exactly is, along with the best and worst case scenarios in terms of recovery.

Seeing a few of you adore him I wont tell you my personal opinion on him after his interview yesterday!

"If someone is willing to leak names to the general public, what's stopping them from forging a sample . . ," he said yesterday after the Victorian Supreme Court ruled that the names remain confidential, backing the AFL's policy that players who test positive out of competition are not named until three strikes.

To me, this is the relevance of the whole issue.
The Herald's legal counsel, Simon Marks, QC, had argued that the names had appeared on websites and were known in AFL circles, and therefore, were already public knowledge. He also argued the players had engaged in criminal activity and should not be protected and that it was in the public interest to publish the names.
When a player breaks the law in other ways they are named, why not in this instance? After all they have broken the law.

What's the problem anyway? They don't enhance performance and are fun things to use.

Don't think they broadcast in Sydney though. From this page (http://www.sen.com.au/index.php?sect...98&pageID=5402) it says:
SEN1116AM is Melbourne's only 24 hour sports talk radio station.
You can listen to it online though, and I find it great for keeping up with AFL news (compared with the paucity of info we get up here).

Guys ... do they talk all sports, or just AFL?
Sydney's a black hole as far as AFL reporting goes.
