Another Big Footy prediction from a poster claiming to be in the media. Lets see how close this is.
That's what ABC radio are predicting too.

Really hoping for a Saturday night game. Just booked my flights to Perth (leaving Friday night) and flying home Sunday...chance I amy have to change flights if our game is on Sunday afternoon.

SOOOO much harder for work etc to organise getting home!

Yeah, I'm aware of that, but it won't be good to have the finals clashing with each other. Or I guess they'd just move the WAFL finals to Sat...

Adelaide vs. Freo either Friday night or Saturday arvo.
West Coast vs. Sydney either Saturday night or Sunday arvo...
Can't forget that the Eagles are expected to have an extra day's break considering they finished top of the ladder.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

and that Channel 10 will be pushing the AFL to make the night games as ratings friendly as possible and the only way to do that is by giving the Melbourne TV market the games and teams they would want to watch in Primetime seeing as that is the AFL heartland's biggest TV market, so a Collingwood night final (which could only take place on a Saturday Night) would no doubt have been requested by Channel 10.
                    Once was, now elsewhere

Yes, WC v Syd will be Saturday night. Biggest ratings nationally, irrespective what victorians wish or think.

WC have the extra day, but travelled in the last round. Evens out I think.

                      We'll win this.

In Sydney the game will go up against two rugby league finals from 6:30pm to 11:00pm.

Who really cares about the ratings.
