    No Melbourne Finals Week 2/3

    So with all interstate teams in the top 4, there will be no finals week 2 or 3 in melbourne.

    Views. comments?

    Listening to SEN about it, very interesting hearing the comments.
    I will be a member again when I return.

              There are more Melbourne based teams than interstate ones so they have numbers in their favour. They clearly have to learn how to win footy games

                  From a Melbourne perspective it's disappointing. September in Melbourne has an enormous atmosphere. But, that's the way it is with a national football competition.

                      They are having a mild spew about the dominance of interstate teams. Typical melbourne-centric views etc.

                          If they want a Melbourne/Vic teams in the Finals, they should follow the VFL!!

                              Can we please not refer to us as an interstate team. We are Sydney in a national competition. The only interstate team in any AFL comp is the Tassie Devils in the VFL.

                                      What about the Sydney reserves? Their comp has 2 interstate teams.

                                          It's a national competition now and if the melbourne teams can't get their acts together to make the top four, tough.
                                          Get over it.

                                              Melburnians sulking about no finals in Melbourne in weeks 2 and 3 can cry me a river for all I care. As Scott says, if you dont like it, go watch the VFL and leave the rest of us to enjoy our national competition.
