    The new after-match thingie today

Something I wanted to bring up was the new after-match thingo held at Fox Studios after the game. It was really really different to anything I think the club has held in the past at either the SARC or Noble stand and was in many respects more akin to live gig or night at Pro Wrestling.

Am not going to bag it out though, as it was awesome to see ALL the team up on stage as one. It was as if we were Premiers already, as the compare was mega hyping up everyone into a frenzy. We gots some good chants. A few renditions of Cheer Cheer as well.

The place was completely packed & for a lot of the time you could not speak due to the loud music. But if it was a way of getting the whole club ready for the extra hype of the finals then it sure worked a treat. It was as if the finals had come early.

It was interesting to see both Myles & Shane Fuller from the club marketing department there. So they were obviously pretty interested to see how it all went.

To be honest whilst I can understand that it may well have not been to everybody's tastes (JS!) & the booze was mega mega expensive. But to those of you who went, what did you think?

Did anyone go to the SARC after the game? Were Nicksey and the crew there for their question & answer thing?

I think the band could have been quieter - this would have allowed for some socialising, and also some partying depending on your mood. I enjoyed the band, but wouldn't want to see that every week - reserve it for special things e.g. end of season, finals aftermatch etc.

It was good to see almost the entire team up there, but it was virtually a blink and you'd miss them situation. Even Jude and Adam up there weren't up for too long and I think they each got asked one question. Although I appreciate that they all have other places to be and other things to do (esp. on father's day), but for the long wait, it was a bit of a letdown.
