If they play like they did in the first half, the last time they met. Do that for four quarters, then they have a big chance of beating them. They also have the revenge factor, from last year, they should have won that game. Let's not let that happen again.

I think realistically, you'd have to start the Eagles as favourites. They finished top, and are playing at home. We're in with a good chance though, don't you worry about that. We've finished 4th, and I reckon we still have another gear to step up to.

I'd go 65/35 in West Coast's favour at the moment.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

        60/40 to Weagles.

        - Is Judd fit?

        - Which forward line will be least ineffectual?

        Are two key questions.

We have a great chance and I'm very confident.

We need our great players to stand up and dominate - Hall, Goodes, Leo, Kirk etc. if Goodes gets plenty of the ball and Hall kicks a bag we will win.

I think it rests on Barry Hall, I think he has been in ordinary form, even yesterday he dropped at least half a dozen marks he'd normally swallow and that was on an Irishman in his 12th game. Glass will tear him to shreds. Big games need big players to stand up and it can't just be left to Goodes.

                  I think we can win

                  I think we can lose

It's football, and impossible to pick any given game, especially when you have a strong bias as we all do here.

                  BUT

When you hear media commentators come out and blow the Swans trumpet for the finals series, you have hope.

                  we finished 4th.
We had our ups and downs, but so have WCE Cows and Freo, as well as those who finished below us.

For me, the most improtant think in the first week of the finals is that Collingwood lose, followed closesly with a Sydney win in week 1
