    Positives.

Defence worked well, keeping the blues to just 2 goals in 3 qtrs was a sensational effort. Including keeping Big Fev and Lance out of the game. Leo, LRT, and Bolton continually to impress.

Mathews had quite a good game, he may not have much in the way of skills but he does know where to go to get the ball.

Everywhere Goodes, what more can be said.

Doyle seems to have improved with each game. I always felt our ruck dept, might be our downfall, come finals, but with Jolly in his best form, and the addition of Doyle. I think the pair will at least put up a good contest against Cox and Seaby next week.

    Jolly just keeps getting better.

Malceski, "bullet like" passes. Commetti even mentioned, how players lose distance after a knee reco, but he doesn't appear to have.

Buchanan, is getting better with each game after his bout of golden staph. He was down on form for awhile after that.

Kirk, seems to be improving, even some of his kicks were OK yesterday. And the quick handpass out of a pack that he has been renowned for are hitting their intended targets more often.

Jude, has been fairly quiet of late, but still manages to get hold of the ball.

Nicky D, tried hard, tried hard. Gave a bit of run through the middle.

ROK, weemed a bit quiet yesterday, but has been in sensational form. I look forward to seeing him explode in the finals.

Tackling and running seemd to be relentless yesterday.

No injuries. Had the luxury of resting players in the final term.

    Scored a ton!!

What do we need to do to get hold of Setanta O'hAilpin? He looked great.

Micky O, set shots for goal aside, absolute magic. For a bloke his size, he is amazing off the ground, and a couple of his kicks to find teammates in the 50....

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

ATM, Dunkley is a better set shot then MOL.

But everything else about MOL, is excellent.

The other positive, I forgot to mention was the F50 pressure. The commentators, even mentioned it a few times saying it looked like Sydneys D50 not their F50, with the tackinling and pressure applied to the defenders.

And Kicking a 100 points without one forward dominating the scoring.

I was thinking the same thing last night. Give them Willoughby or Schmitt as trade.

He will be a very good player and he's so tall.
