    Eagles Def. Sydney

Obviously it's not a certainty but it's pretty likely that we'll lose this weekend.

    Swans at Subiaco (scroll down)

We have had only three wins at Subiaco (vs the Eagles) in 14 matches, most recently in 2001. I think it's a pretty big call to blame that form on umpiring. The only slight positive is that the last two losses have been close.

A record that is set to be broken??

The last 2 games are the key. 4 point loss, two point loss, we are getting closer.

        Pretty impressive that the Swans:
        a) for a team that faced long, long stretches without finals action, clicked up a 55% net winning record at the Lake Oval (admittedly mostly on the back of a fearsome pre-WWII winning rate)
        b) have a 54% winning record at the SCG, given the length of time in Sydney that we were crap.

Also quite obvious that we should be allocating our home finals to one of Coburg, Yarraville or Albury Ovals. Homebush is all very nice (it comes 4th), but we can't be beaten at these places!
