*'Embley said yesterday he had woken up with a sore throat after the round-19 win over the Kangaroos and his voice had become progressively worse to the point where he could speak in only a whisper. He said he did not feel ill and he trained strongly at Subiaco.'

I reckon he will play,he seems ready but hope that the shoulder needs one more week

*'Chris Judd - who left the ground in the last quarter on Saturday claiming he had cramp - had an easy session before leaving the track early, but declared himself fit to play.'

Will play, just nursing him through his'cramp'lite week on the track and hopefully he can't keep up with Goodes then.

*'While Daniel Kerr (leg) is yet to prove he is fit,'

Probably won't play, doesnt seem to be doing anything yet to warrant a return

    * 'Ashley Hansen and David Wirrpanda trained strongly and appear set to return.'

Maybe Wirrpanda will play(nobody alledgedly try to trip him in last qtr this week hey)hansen maybe 1 more week

I am no doctor and nowhere near perth to have seen for myself, but thats what i reckon and will see how close i am.

of all the players mentioned there, i reckon kerr is the biggest threat, judd is a gun, but last time it was a good match up, however for kerr, he has the ability to break the packs and he is a very cokcy lil fella makes me hate him just by watching him

I think if we win this week it will be better for us. Given we have the finals experience, I am not too worried about momentum. A win against WC would be enough momentum to see us through to the PF and beyond.

Also the pressure might get to WC if they don't win this week - esp if Freo win this weekend, knowing they will need to play a PF vs Freo. The derby from hell, which will give the other team to make the GF playing a team which spent all it's juice the previous week - and having to deal with all the GF week events too hindering recoverery from the trip from perth.

Baz could probably do with a week off too.

Cross fingers the A team boarded the plane for perth today.

EDIT: The more I think about us winning and Freo winning is the ideal result of the top 4 games this week. Forcing WC into Freos side of the draw plus Adelaide having an extra game when they have a long injury list is surely the best outcome for us.

Me too. I think his injury in the GF was possibly the difference between winning and losing that match. He played so well when he was on the field.

Well, it's more kind of saying a double opposite (if you can follow that), but maybe there was a more specific thread. But yes, it's quite an entertaining post!

I still owe the old man $9990 as a result of offering him 10000/1 after the loss. Lucky he's a stingy gambler.

Are you going to open your mouth again on saturdays game.?
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

We seem to alternate wins with the Weagles - so it seems that it's our turn to win (by about 2 points). Winning this one will be a MASSIVE boost for the defending Premiers - I'm shaking just thinking about it.

Hopefully, then, they don't get to play us in the Grand Final (assuming, of course, that we get there).

BTW, when was the last time one of these 2 teams won 2 on the trot against the other?

The last 10 games have alternated, didn't look back any further than that.

We don't have a very good record at Subi, but here's hoping anyhow.
