or is it too early to be wearing our scarves to work?
I hope all you swannie sandgropers wore your scarves to work today.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

On match night Swans63 was too scared to have his scarf waving out of his car for fear of the police using their badge to get us for something. Knowing what petty wankers the majority of Eagles fans are like, I'd not put it past a WA copper booking us for doing nothing more than having a Swans scarf flapping out the window.

I brandished my Swans scarf at the Perth Glory-Sydney FC match the day after the match. Weirdly, I got mainly cheers from the Glory fans in the Shed. It appears that colours run thick & the shed is mainly purple in the footy season as well. (Didn't stop me standing in front of them stirring them up by waving my giant flag at them though! :P)

Myself & Swans63 were walking around Galleria Shopping Centre in Morley yesterday. There were several people in E-Girls paraphanalia who'd see us and deliberately look the other way. That was great. The people at the AFL store were kinda reticent to serve us as well, but knew Swans63 (and his wife Port1978) from before.

Let them book you, don't pay the fine, and I'll come over and represent you in court.
After that game my scarf would have been ALL THE WAY OUT .... held to the window by the finest of threads.

I bought a rather attractive all in one swannies beanie with pom pom, with scarf attached to the beanie at a rebel sport in melbourne recently. She said that they had been so popular they had run out, it is incredibly daggy but i'm very proud to wear it!
i love after going to the game wearing all the gear and having people come up to you and ask how the swannies went
