I think big Donk can still be the wildcard for us. It's always handy to have a 202cm ruckman who can mark and kick goals up your sleeve.
We are also yet to see the best of Davo since he returned.

I agree. PLONK THE DONK in the GS. He could have a major role to play

Wont work. Our game plan is "kick it to Hall". Hall then short passes it to someone on a sharp led.
Donk might as well be on the bench.
In all seriousness, having a ruckman as FF would be a completely different game plan to ours, and possible an out-dated one if WC GF are any example. The bomb it long days are only for desperate situations.

It will work for a few minutes at a time as part of a "tempo change". Doyle began the game at full forward on Sunday but moved out after 5 minutes or so after Carlotn re-arranged to fit the match-up.
I think it is a good option to all of a sudden have Doyle down there and for 3 or 4 minutes just bomb it long. Once the opposition has reacted, move him back to the bench/ruck or swap him in the goalsquare for someone like Schneider or McVeigh. Tempo footy is really just about getting the opposition to not know what you're going to do next. And once they've got a handle on it, change it again.
Doyle will be of great value over the coming weeks. Assuming he stays fit, of course.
As much as i love the eski i seriously think the Schneiderman will be the wildcard again. How good was he in the start of the 4th term against the Aints? He's had a solid year due to the confidence he has gained in the finals last year and i seriously think he can rise to the occassion again.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun. Blessedare the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Should have worked alright for Gardiner if he had played it better (and kicked straight - he missed 2 or 3 easy shots).
