Dislocated finger, pop it back in and few pain killers - right to go.

      Even more important to win.

if he has rolled his ankle then I doubt he would play (which it looked like on 10, pot hole)

I'm usually on crutches for 3+ days after I have done it but swans do seem to pull up from injures better than most

maybe with some extra strapping and an injection he can get through

I remember Goodes dislocating a finger (even broke the skin) a few years ago against the pies, he popped it back in and continued to play.
It was either '02 or '03 and we didn't have a bench because of injuries and we held on to win by about 22 points, a great game.

Perhaps these reports of injuries could be to give the WCE a false sense of security.
          Bring it on!

BF thread now says that reports from 3AW etc says they are both likely to play.
That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

I remember a similar goodes story, was it wrist? It must have been 2000 or 2001 as I was still in Sydney. I remember thinking at the game, gee goodes is playing well - in the ruck, then read the next day he had a serious hand injury but played on. It was a night game.

Stafford hyper extended his knee..I can remember that much. PLus there is footage of Goodes trying to clap at the end of the game and he is very conscious of not actually making contact with the sore hand.

Jolly will surely play. Pop it back in place, strap it up and he'll be fine, players dislocate there fingers all the time. Kirky, well.. it doesnt sound too good, but if he straps it and keeps the ice on it, hopefully he should be good to play.!! Lets just hope

And I remember Crouch trying to acknowledge the fans after the Hawthorn game at the G this year, with his arm that was hanging limply from his shoulder. He lasted a few more games.

jolly rolled his ankle in the finals last year but still played ... it depends on how serious kirk's was and if he was wearing strapping or has a history of ankle problems etc ... i think jolly will be fine with his finger ... most people play through it if it happens during a game don't they ?

It won't affect Kirks kicking at all will it?

Depends on whether it is a dislocation or a fracture and it has broken the skin.

If it is dislocated it will be fine, put it back in and then just jab it before the game to numb the pain in that area.

Fractured and it's a whole different story, would probably be out for the rest of the year.

                              Can we draft Spider now?

Fox Footy League Teams at 8.30pm will be going live to Subi with footage of the mishaps at training.

Not at all, with BSFooty, if they throw out enough rumours one of them has to be right eventually.
