It's true. it was reported on 6pr along with Jolly dislocating his finger at a 90 degree angle

oh btw it was a live cross from training at 6pm on 6pr
An instrument with only 9 notes! Surely it's easy to play?

if jolly has fractured his finger can he splint it ?? not ideal i know but would get him though a game i reckon ... i have played netball with a fractured finger ... not the same thing i know but it's definitely possible ... and kirk should just ice and strap his ankle speaking as someone who has rolled her ankles many many times ... ice, compression, elevation

Yep. Left hand too, so it will effect him less.

Pain killers and plenty of strapping should let him ruck effectively. But it will likely effect his marking, which is still not ideal.

will they be talking about this on the footy show? because now im very concerned, also does anyone have an idea to an extent of both of these injuries, if its just a twisted ankle or something, he'll be right, but if it's a break/fracture then thats not good, also for jolly, finger isnt really a problem just a hell of a lot of tape would do the job

btw does anyone have any online links for this, im still in a state of disbelief.

The footage on Fox League Teams showed Kirky running after he'd rolled his ankle and Jolly leaving the field with his index finger pointing out at a right angle.

based on the images, what do you think is the likelihood of each of them playing?

I'd say based on the images they'll both play. Only because Jolly could still smile and Kirk could still run. The guys on League Teams seemed to think they'd be okay, one comment being "Kirky could play on one leg".

                            Would not affect his kicking.

Geez, did Kirky roll his ankle on Jolly's finger? Jolly's the one player I wouldn't want to miss. Fingers crossed (not Jolly's)

Both should play - Jolly was actually smiling as he left the field, he knew it was dislocated so didn't seem too concerned.

Kirk looked a little worried- though when he did the run through he looked 'OK' - at least he has 2 days to get it right. And like they said on Fox League Teams, he'd play on one leg anyway....

The good news is Kerr, Hansen and Embley are allstill out.
                                Regards,
