Didn't Gerard Bennett win an award just before he was de-listed?

I have never once called for Spriggs's head...i dont tend to enter into any (many perhaps more truthfully) debates about players like Mathews, LRT, Bevan etc. Those debates never make sense to me because at some time we have called for almost every player to be dropped/sacked/traded

I thought and posted the other week when Mathews came into the side as a late replacement that Spriggs should have been brought in ahead of him - and at least given him one more chance to prove himself at the top level (or perhaps given him a chance to show other AFL clubs that he is worth a shot)

I don't think so. Perhaps you're thinking of Ryan O'Connor who won a Margarey Medal (B&F in SANFL) after he was delisted by us.

I would've called for his head the way he was playing a while back.

But even though he's come up quite good, and shown his stuff.. easing his way back into the seniors is no easy task...

Having the one-up on Schmidt, Vogels, esp Bevan (who is starting to look like another Lukey Ablett..) is no mean feat..

I'm on the Heath Grundy for Full Forward band wagon.

Definitely not on any Spriggs band wagons, unless it's the Spriggs to be de-listed band wagon.

Have you been along to many reserves games this year?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Only those played in Sydney, so about half.

The Sydney games must have been the ones where he averaged less than 35 possessions per game!!!

Shame, the Spriggs version is pretty roomy from all accounts.

Didnt Scott McGlone win this award just before he was delisted by the Swans?
