You guys have talent for sure...but I reckon that our boys are the fittest team left in the finals series. Our midfield can run all day - no mistaking that. One downer might be the absence of Embley as he's got a huge engine and has proven to be damaging in the 4th quarter of games - leaves his opponent for dead and bobs up with match winning marks and a goal or two... Still, we've got Huntaaa back now and he can fill that spot for Saturday night.

Of course Sydney can win. On the other hand West Coast can win. It all depends on who doesn't crack and fall under pressure.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

Such an insightful first post. I am not sure it deserved a new thread.

The steadiness of the outfit of both sides will have a great match to watch.

Something gives me the feeling though, that although the defence and midfield of both sides is pretty much the same as last year, both sides have a vastly improved forward line than last year.

Eagles have their forwards really throwing punches this year, with Lynch and their new guy McGras firing.

With the Swans outfit, I have never really seen Magic on his toes and fitter, McVeigh booting stronger, Hally and ROK with others such as Goodes, Judey et al, really picking up the slack, and playing on.. which I haven't seen for a very very long time. Coupled with some old but new faces like Dempster bombing long for around 60 metres from defensive to offensive 50 (remember that last week?), Swannies can really give it a shake.

Swans by less than 10 in an absolute CRACKER!

I don't think the Swans forward line looks particularly better than last year.

                    Agreed.
                    Accuracy will win tomorrow.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I think the 2nd tier players ie 12-22 will be the most important in determining who will win. If we can get a strong showing from players like McVeigh, Fosdike, Eski, Doyle then we will be a great chance.

The crowd is also going to be a massive factor, need to silence them early.

we have lost crouch - can tag really well because of his pace
a big loss i think especially against west toast
                        might hurt us..
