    Doyle, Jolly

Great game by both. Jolly just to be competitive with the finger. Doyle to play a lot more minutes than usual (I think). He rucked really well. Doesnt look fragile either

Proud of Stephen Doyle. Really took it to Cox when I was afraid, in the first half of the 1st quarter, that he was going to dominate in the ruck. And did some work around the ground.

Does anyone know how many hitouts Jolly got?

          Jolly 18
          Doyle 13
          Cox 39
          Graham 3
          Lynch 2

Crazy decision by Woosha to drop Seaby after he's played every game. It was probably influenced by Jolly's dislocated finger.

Yep, underestimating Doyle and banking of Jolly's finger hampering him.

Its madness though. You have to go into a final with 2 ruckmen.
You could even see that after the saints v melb game.
Christ, WC went into the GF with 3 (Cox, Seaby, Gardiner).

Jolly and Doyle were both very good.

Another selection error by Worsfold - dropping Seaby.

Both looked great tonight but still need to get the tap that they are easily winning to our team a bit more often. I think Doyle could do with a bit more fitness and he will be the gun ruckman in the league.

Never mind Seaby, should have given Gardy a run.

Jolly was either tired or worn out, or the painkilling injections were getting to him at the end.. as he lost a few of the contests at the end and gave away a free or 2..

That said, I'm quite sure if I were Roosey, I wouldn't take a risk and put on Doyley the way things went..

I've been a Doyle critic but I was realy pleased to eart my words tonight.
I couldnt work out why Mr Roos perservred with him. NowI know why.
Maybe even he has a reason for having Mathews in the side (He doesnt have to explain it to me)
Mr Roos knew what he was doing'
John Longmire is taking it to an art form
We dont know how lucky we are to be Swans supporters

TEN showed a telling statistic at half time. Cox was winning the hitouts but we sharked 7 of his taps while only 2 of Jolly's were sharked.

The weagles were predictable in their bounce setup. Cox would attempt to knock it forward to Braun or someone like that, with Judd running around the back, ready to take a handpass. This made for a hazardous situation for the Swans. If Jolly had got a few more taps in the middle, Judd might have got 36 possessions, and who knows what might have happened. Luckily, Big Cox got on top in the last quarter and helped dig the Eagles' grave. Someone ought to thank him.
