    September 9

Not too sure how it looks going back in history, but it has provided us with two very memorable results in the last 2 years.

2005 - Beat Geelong in the SF at the SCG
2006 - Beat the Eagles in the QF at Subi

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Well going back into history, before last year we had only twice played on the 9th of September and LOST both times to be knocked out of September action.

The first was in 1911 and the last was 2001

1911 - Lost to Collingwood in the SF at the MCG 6.11 (47) to 11.11 (77)
2001 - Lost to Hawthorn in the EF at TD 11.8 (74) TO 19.15 (129)

So last year Nick Davis saved us in more ways than one on the 9th of September - He changed the course of CLUB HISTORY for the better and aren't we all glad we he did.
        Once was, now elsewhere
