Crouch v Hunter: The bigger pest?

Hunter's tactics were pretty ordinary last night. But how different are they from Crouch's 'distracting' tactics?

The difference is one is Jared Crouch, and one is a dirty wet toast weagle!

You cant even really compare them ROK. Its like comparing a Ford Cortina to a kit-car (fake) lamborghini with a damn ugly head of a paintjob!
If the siren sounds in Tasmania, and the umpires don't hear it, does it make a sound?

Hunter, by far, is the biggest pest. In fact, he's worse than a pest, he's more of a tool.
My Pokemon brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "Wanna trade cards?"
"Damn right, I wanna trade cards. I can beat you, I've got Charizard!"

Well, according to some he is a cheat. And certainly has a reputation for doing things to try and provoke players into giving away frees and to get under their skin generally. I have said elsewhere that I think Hunter is a tool so I am not condoning what he did. Just wondering whether or not though it is that different to the antagonistic side of Crouch's football character.

I think the difference is that Crouch does it with class, Hunter is just a jerk.

If the umpires were doing their job, they would just give a free kick against him and he would stop doing it.

                  Crouch can be irritating.
                  Hunter is despicable.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Maybe you should ask Aker fans.

While Crouch has been described as the most annoying player/tagger the same players who said that also said that most things he does aren't illegal, just annoying.

What Hunter did is akin to the Reiwoldt/lions incident last year.

Which was widely lauded on this forum.

The pushing and bumping may have been similar to the Reiwoldt incident, which was all legal, until he actually knocked MOL over, then it was illegal, that is when the umpire should have stepped in.

I have some friends who are WCE supporters, they agree that the umpire got that one wrong and that Hunter should have been penalised.

What really intrigued me was his reaction when he got the free kick, it was like a school yard bully who had set someone up, which is really what happened, and gotten (is that a word) away with it.

That would have to be the 3rd or 4th time he has carved us up when he goes forward. He is a very very good player and seriously underrated in that WCE outfit.

He is a d*ck and is becoming the player swans fans love to hate!

The Umpire did step in when Hunter knocked MOL over to warn Hunter. Why didn't MOL get a warning for the round the neck? Like Danihers advise to Davey, "Initiate, but don't react")

As for Hunters reaction. Tool of the Week.
