Eagles hard man Daniel Chick had publicly promised that Jolly was fair game and would be targeted during the match after he put the bone through the knuckle of his left index finger in a training mishap last Thursday.

The Eagles kept to their word, having a whack at Jolly's hand, which was protected by heavy bandaging and a red glove.

"Hey, at least I've got a finger," Jolly said in a light-hearted crack at Chick, who chose to have part of a digit amputated several years ago because of a chronic injury.

It just confirms my view that West Coast are a dirty team and that Chick and Hunter are two of the biggest grubs going around.
