Typical Eagles fans. They can dish it out and be as cocky and arrogant as they want to before the game, but get really sooky and nasty after the game.

Well said. They have been cocky and arrogant from the day after last years GF. I have had several WC people say to me " We've booked our plane tickets for September - you needn't bother because you won't be there".

I hope they get belted by the Bulldogs this week.

Buckley's nose is as wide as his face ... but then, he's a pensioner.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

When we were in Melbourne last year for the GF, we ran into a bunch of Weagles supporters who were staying at our hotel, and they formed a conga line and started singing "making up the numbers, @@@@ off back to Sydney" - we searched high and low for them after the game, but surprisingly, they were nowhere to be found...

Although one drunken woman ran out of a pub and hugged us and said it was a great game and a great win, so they're not all bad. Well there's one good one anyway.

Finally got to watch the game last night - fab game but Hunter is a dirty little grub, one day someone will have had enough of his constant niggling and will knock his block off - hope I'm there too see it.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Having said that Hunter was giving Mickey O a push and shove before the ball was even bounced.

I could hear the umpire telling Hunter to leave it alone or he'd give a way a free kick.
'tis better to be pissed off than pissed on . . .

And surprise, surprise, none was paid. It always ticks me off when an umpire comes in and talks to players about push and shoves and says "stop it or I'll pay a free kick", don't tell them, just do it. Whether it's a Swans, Eagle, Crow, whoever infringing, don't warn them, just penalise them.
