    Telstra Stadium

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know there are no NRL finals to be played on the ground between now and 8pm next Friday.

Unless there are any schoolboy or similar matches then the ground should be in peak condition - particularly given the recent rain and the fact that it is spring.

Hopefully the ground will be in good enough condition to showcase AFL to 70,000+ screaming fans.

At this stage I think both games are at Aussie Stadium.

Its like everything is coming up Swans at the moment, Im still riding the high.

Telstra is a much better venue from a supporters point of view IMO. A 70,000+ sea of red n white will really fire our boys up, plus it all gives us the opportunity to bring along family and friends (Im loving this 4 tickets per membership option). It is highly doubtful that we could do this at the SCG. Im flying my elderly mother up from the country for her very first live AFL game, and she is mega pumped about it!

Plus it is a world class stage (second only to the MCG), to show what will be a world class performance, by our boys in red and white!

        HERE IT IS!!!!!
If the siren sounds in Tasmania, and the umpires don't hear it, does it make a sound?

Lets hope the booze flows beyond 3/4 time.

Is it worth blogging on all the major papers about this stupidity?

Seriously, if I want a beer with 40 minutes to go in the game, those freaks better serve me or all hell could break loose green hulk style ha

Stuff the beer, all I care about is finally getting a Vilis pie.

Telstra rocks, I can't wait for this match. I hope it's a sellout.

Yes the pies will be better, but please never insult the beer.

TS catering is a joke, I went to a rugby union game recently, in the wallaby first section they serve alcohol after the game as well as right up to the end. It appears if you pay more money to get in you are less likely to get drunk and cause trouble (interesting theory!)

The food choices were ceasar salad, cheese platter or buttered chicken & rice !!

Now, i am all for choice in catering, but who came up with that selection !

Not to mention being unable to get Carlton Draught... each to their own, but New isn't as good...

That being said, i'm psyched its at Telstra! I reeeallly hope we get a sellout! Get off your butts and get out there people! They should delay the game by an hour in sydney as incentive!

The funny thing is that for AFL and RU games you can by 4 drinks, but for NRL it is only 2 at a time.

On catering though, TS @@@@s all over the SCG. The facilities at TS (as they should be) are vastly superior.

I know that most members will rock up, but with prices starting at $70, you gotta wonder how many of the general public will go along...

Yep I agree. The prices for this game are pretty steep which will definitely result in less general public going along.

Pretty silly really, if the prices were $10-15 cheaper, the AFL would make more money anyway. Not to think of spreading the gospel among the West, advertising revenue etc.

The cost of tickets were blamed for some of Port Adelaide's poor finals crowds so the AFL stepped and lowered the prices.

Obviously the AFL thinks we all drive BMWs and live in waterfront houses in Sydney.
