    Nice observation!

Kirk played on Judd for less than half a quarter. At that rate Judd would have kicked at least 8 goals.

It was the best half a quarter Judd has ever played though!

            I'll bite.

Yes I did think that Judd's performance last year and the 2005 GF was over rated. He didn't make All Australian last year and I still beleive that while he lead all comers for posessions in GF that to many of his posessions were rushed and didn't hit targets unlike Amon in the last who did something constructive with the ball and won us the game.

But however after watching him this year and especially on Saturday night he has improved his dispoal, which now makes him even more dangerous when he gets the ball which he does in bucket loads.

If Judd had been able to run freely in the last 10 minutes on Saturday night as he had for the first 10 minutes of the quarter then we would be discussing a loss right now not a win. While he got one on Kirk in those 10 minutes Kirk was still good enough to apply pressure when it was needed in the last couple minutes of the game.

Judd was outstanding in the last qrtr, but it is interesting to note that the commentators were pointing out in the first qrtr that only half of his disposals were any good, due to the pressure being applied to him. I think that is the secret to combatting Judd, although no amount of pressure was going to stop him in the last...unless Daniel Chick played for Sydney.

Judd got them over the line earlier this year too. Not necessarily through quality disposal, but when you get it that regularly, your team mates are going to benefit.

I agree, a lot of his disposals in the GF were attrocious, but he is still a class player, who knows how to get the ball and how to get free.

If only Nick Davis had gone to Judd, we might have won...

Oh, just a minute - we did win!

I thought it was interesting that the commentary team noted Judd's inefficiency with the ball during the weekend's game. They seemed surprised but maybe he just gets nervous in big games.

                      Well done you've succeeded.

Notice the same people who lurk here under the "Davis apologists' banner" have remained silent on the last quarter goalkicking shank. Or perhaps that was Kirk's fault.

If you read a little more widely you will see that the issue was discussed by a number of people.

That would be a thread you posted in. Why would I bother?

                              No just joking there ROK!

Yeah sure it was discussed, but hardly to the point that Kirk has been villified for supposed dastardly deeds this season.

I am not saying I want it discussed to that end either.

Particularly when it gets to the ridiculous where people question someone as a person, when they do not know them in any other way other than as a public sports figure. My point was that the thread appears to have been established to satisfy the RWO mob mentality, which really has become tiresome.
