Having watched the replay a couple of times now I am impressed with the way LRT has matured. I was talking to my Mum on the phone and she has known the Launceston Roberts-Thompsons for a long time(she's 83) and she said he is like them. He hasn't got the mongrel in him, just a nice person. She sees him smiling on the television when others are all sullen and it reminds her of Harold.(a very talented sportsperson).
Anyway,as I was saying, he has turned his clumsiness into an asset ..or so it seemed on Sat. He received free kicks for too high as he was falling over and cannoning into people. Plus he fell into Hunter at one stage in the last quarter and it resulted in a good spoil.
As a coach you ask kids to use their strengths and work from that basis. He is doing that well and who knows,in time, if his movements continue to neaten up the way they are, the clumsiness may disappear all together.
