I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I think Roos' treatment has affected Davis' confidence a bit. I am sure he will come good.

I think Roos' treatment has affected the whole team.

Hopefully his treatment continues through to another Premiership!

Davis is about to have a blinder...... The pace of the game has taken him a couple of weeks to get up to date and its time me thinks!

AWY Anne, maybe he's inching his way up to his best, then again maybe Roos wants him to play more like a goal kicking midfielder.Realy we are only speculating only the club knows, and time will tell.

I wish there was room for both because I rate him pretty highly, but we can't dump Davis.

                      SPECULATON .... here?
No way, I don't believe it.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Davo had more involvement than 13 of his teammates - a great example of his footy smarts: he knew where to be at the right time just as he did last year against Geelong.

Tho to be fair to four of them, they were sitting on the bench.

I'm pretty sure he started the run from half back by finding space to mark and then playing on (instead of stopping and waiting for the defence to get back like half the team), he then ran in support after giving off the handball.

And there are a couple for whom that is exactly the right place.
