    Baz to hospital?

Report on Ch 2 tonight that after the game Baz had blood in the urine and was taken off to hospital with problems in kidney and back. Does anyone know more?
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Chuck him on dialysis, give him an injection and boot him up.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

He did get hit in the back and we know what happened to a Geelong player who lost a kidney that way. I hope nothing is serious.

Could be bad. Let's hope not. I couldn't find any online references to this story so far though.

so are they saying that it was straight after the game? if so then he must be Ok - as he flew home and was training on Tuesday night (albeit with his shorts hitched up under his arm pits) and he looked fine.

Rest assured that the club will do everything humanly (and legally) possible to have him on the pitch next Friday night. Dr Nathan Gibbs may have an extra few injection viles in his bag next week.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Not to mention that he flew to Melbourne on Monday night for the All Australian shebang. Doubt he'd being doing that if he had an internal injury issues.
                      oh well, maybe next time......

Exactly - they wouldn't risk further complications if the injury was serious.

I think the 'Baz urinating blood' story belongs in the 'stories we expect to see this week' thread...

And how would Roos be 100% certain about the state of Hall's urine anyway?? Shudder...
