    Freo matchups

They played all over Melbourne. Loose men everywhere. Our man on man style is a big first step towards victory.

Who gets Farmer? CBolt seems best option. But who played on him earlier in the year?
    LRT on Pavlich
    Leo on Murphy

    Ablett on JCarr
    McVeigh on Black
Kirk on Bell in the middle, Schneider when he drops back to half back

Nice to have Doyle's height to play some time against Sandilands.

Tell me where I'm wrong. It's going to be a long week waiting for the game!

Farmer is the only one i cant find a true match up for apart from Schneider.

C Bolts (B2) should take Pavlich as he has managed to contain him very well in the past.

LRT or Leo on Murphy who looks like a dangerous tall.

Josh Carr needs some one like Ghandi on him with the use of passive resistance. Is it too late to rectuit Bob Brown?

Just checked the match report from Round 11. Bevan was named in our best for his job on Farmer.

I worry that Jeffrey may be too strong overhead and generally have too many tricks for Schneids. CBolt does have a great record on Pavlich (though not so good this year) but I think we might need him on Farmer this time. I'm confident LRT would do a solid job on Pav.

The only person I can think of who could play on Farmer though would be playing out of position would be N Mal - he'd have the speed to match him - unless they bring Bevan into the team for the match.

I thought Farmer was singularly unimpressive this evening. He can't be ignored but I think there are more dangerous players to be concerned about. I certainly wouldn't be putting Malceski on him - his kicking and run are some of Sydney's most important weapons.

I thought Melbourne played poorly for much of the evening and Freo didn't smash them. They are a danger; nothing can be taken for granted. But if Sydney aren't good enough to beat anything that Freo can throw at them next week then they're not good enough to win the premiership. Simple as that.

Everyone on bull@@@@ footy are talking about Farmer tripping someone at the end of the game, and might get cited.

Anyone see it. Most people on BS Footy are one eyed trolls, so a clear opinion would be good.

Who cares ... we LURV speculation!!!
GIVE HIM THREE WEEKS ... although one should suffice ... that would solve the matchup at least.
Just hope that the docker supporters don't get ideas and try and get over here .... they're VERY loud.
They now have the same dilemma most of us had last year ... go to the QF or hope they win and spend the $$'s going the GF. Poor punters ... at least our options were much cheaper than theirs.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

He'd been caught holding the ball and a free paid against him so play had stopped. He then picked his opponent (who was lying on the ground) up around the shins and dumped him down again.

Twas stoopid and gave away 50m but would be flabbergasted (and disappointed) if that was thought to warrant a suspension.

                            Wasn't a spear tackle though?

No, nothing like one. Didn't drive the opponent down head first - he just turned him over and dumped him on his side.
