The game is on Friday night at the same time as NRL Preliminary at Aussie Stadium, so have a guess.

This Fridays game is live, but it doesnt bother me since I'll be there!

Last Fridays game should have been live...

The AFL should be more than dissappointed that Ten and 9 haven't got the guts to put games on at prime time in what can be the AFLs biggest market.

Finals coverage is 10's domain, 9 no longer televises footy. However, given 9 was televising NRL into Sydney and it had that to think of, I can understand (although I don't agree with it) that 9 showed NRL in an NRL stronghold in prime time. It willbe interesting to see whether the 7/10 consortium will have the balls to tackle NRL head on.

Well we know what Ch10 lacks, I hope Ch7 has got them.

I have a sneeky suspicion that that was agreement between Ch9 and Ch10 not to show live AFL games in Sydney on Friday night. I might be wrong though, but with those media moguls you never know who's bedding who.

Ch10 coverage in Sydney on Friday starts at 8.00 pm & finishes at 11.30pm. It's more than likely on a half-hour delay.
The live game starts at 8pm doesn't it??
They normally have half an hour (at least) of chat before the finals games.
Ch9 has the bogan league final starting at 7.30pm - finishing at 10.15. Sydney will turn over and watch the last hour of the swans game.
Can't wait to see the ratings results on Monday!! I hope they show how many people make the switch-over (if like last year ... nearly all of them).

No that is crap.

The NRL was on live on Saturday against the footy. Why is Friday delayed yet Saturday Live? I can't see the difference. Both or neither.

HOPEFULLY Herr Demetriou has stipulated in the contract that ALL finals matches are LIVE.

A shame they didn't stipulate that Fox Footy continues.
