Melways is Melbourne. Sydways just don't sound right, I reckon.

I'm a map freak!! I was a gregorys fans for years and years and years (I have one from 1965 that is quite hysterical ... half of sydney didn't exist). The first time I went to Melbourne, I loved the Melways, so I sought one out (in Melbourne) for Sydney. Now their available here, it's fabulous.
(Besides ... the melb people wouldn't have got the "gregory's" reference ... I try to speak generic australian.)
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

          Are you kidding?

I've just forked out $ 200 of my hard earned for the privilege of sitting with Docker supporters?

Just my devious mind at work here, you know - will Qantas serve the "special" prawn sandwiches on the flight over. Will their hotel booking go astray and they end up at staying at the Hume Highway Formula 1. Perhaps the bus driver delivers them to Aussie Stadium and leaves them there, they are forced get the train out, but go to platform 25 and end up at Waterfall. Ok - its not going to happen, but we can always dream!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Drums and horns outside team hotel? Nah that's too soccer for my liking.

I think you need to meet them at the airport and hand out maps.

My old Raiders mates used to say 'blood nose' as well. Canberra because of all the expat public service workforce from the southern states was apparently influenced in terms of some of the expressions people use.

'Bloody' Nose is the North American preference FWIW.

That Heath Black map of Sydney is very funny. Poor fella he is never going to live that down.

I love maps and read atlases for fun (occasionally) but my youngest is spatially retarded. She would equate well to Heath Black's lack of knowledge about another place. Google earth makes her want to vomit.
