Pretty boring, predictable stuff from Dean Laidley, but some far more creative ideas from Peter Hately.

Idiot - no mention of the donk. Did he just watch the previous time we played and copy roo's tactics?
Darren Jolly has a huge job on the in-form Sandilands and to give him support, we will rotate Lewis Roberts-Thomson and Adam Goodes through the position.I will be a member again when I return. -
i'd like to see goodes get a fair crack at sandilands as he won't concede much more than jolly will have to at the ball-ups but will run him absolutely ragged around the ground.then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i knowComment

I don't rate the Pav... We've got a much more versatile and experienced forward line and if Pav is it for them, we should be fine - we've got too many great defenders.
I'm a little more concerned about the giant...~ Err.. No thanks.. But your car's hot! ~Comment

Being an optimist, i don't think C Bolts is going to let Pav pull his pants down this time. Look for him to own Pavlich. For a man that had 15 goals kicked on him all year, getting owned by Pav for those 4 goals would have been a real thorn in his side.
Look for the legend to make up for it in spades tonight!Comment

In between those two bursts, Bolton was able to keep Pavlich pretty much out of the game, forcing him up the ground and to the boundary to take his marks and preventing him providing meaningful delivery forward.
I'm not trying to down play Pav's performance. He was an important contributor for them. But there was no reason for Bolts to hang his head in shame after his performance.Comment

I think one may have been a free that wasn't Bolton's fault, one was a really good long kick by Pavlich and the others came from fast leads where Bolton was somewhat let down by the midfield's lack of pressure.

Had he have only had an average season, a 4 goal haul against him may not have come into consideration, but with how outstanding he has been for us, i bet its in the forefront of his mind and i'll back him to the hilt to get it done tonight, he seems to step up when needed.Comment

We will need to play at our very best to beat these guys. They are legit and if we are not on our game, they will beat us!!!Comment
