    Freo Marking Technique

Can someone enlighten me with regards to a technique I noticed Freo Murphy use in last week's game.

When he went for a mark, he would jump into the defender in front but with one knee up crashing into the defenders back.

I am pretty sure it is legit, but it was like a push out led by the knee.
I will be a member again when I return.

AS long as your eyes are on the ball and taking the mark is your primary intention then it's perfectly legit.

And in case anyone forgot it's one of the attributes of our game that makes it so special.

Adam Goodes performed a brilliant example of this manoeuvre on Chris Grant.

        Helps if you complete mark.
