Yesterday's match was an epic struggle. I was surprised the Eagles had the mental toughness to overcome the 1st half deficit as well as the feral Croweater crowd.
Surely that match will take a lot out of them.It was draining just watching it as a neutral supporter. There will surely have to be some carry-over from this game, especially considering the one day less to recover, as well as two flights across the country.
We can only hope the E-Girl are lethargic and tired in the 2nd half of the match. They always seem to give teams starts, then power back into games during the second half.

Too true. Even all the recent meetings between the Swans/Eagles have happened like this.
Gets me worried that if we get out to a 3-4 goal lead they will come back (again) and if they get out to a 3-4 goal lead will we be able to?
That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.
has anyone noticed that it's always a few contentious umpiring decisions that gets them back into games. particularly when cousins has been a bit quiet?
