    Jolly and Doyle

    Better than Ball/Jolly?

I thought they were outstanding tonight. Great game and fantastic support from our mids who were excellent on the ball. Special mention to B1...back to his best.

I thought Sandilands was immense tonight. Got his hands to a lot of the ball first, but our midfield was superb in sharking a lot of them.

Poor Doyle, how did he miss his shot!?

We needed Doyle and Jolly together to take on Sandilands, and while he was huge tonight (well, he's always huge!), they didn't let us down.

I really wanted Doyle to kick that goal. How good was it when he booted the ball long to Barry Hall after roving his own tap in the centre though?? That was Cox-like athleticism! (No jokes, please. I'm tired. )

Donk missed a shot from even closer in a reserves game I saw, so I was never confident he'd kick it!

Couldn't help remembering Mott miss the one against Bombers and Ball against the Lions.

Thankfully, it didn't matter otherwise it would have gone down in Swans history and a automatic trade for him at season end.

Jolly and Doyle did very well to take on Sandilands. Although I have no idea of how many hitouts each had, they seemed to do very well.

It was 34 hitouts to Sydney and 48 to Freo

What were the ultimate clearances? It seemed like B1 and the Captain did okay in getting Sandilands' ball a bit.
