Swans team - no change as usual?

Can anyone make a case for a change this week?

Don't think I can - all the "fringe" players did their job and no injuries means no change again!

Must be frustrating to be a Spriggs, Vogels etc - the wrong club to be the 23rd man.

I still consider Dempster a passenger...but no obvious replacement at this stage.

      Only if Amon is suspended.

      Spriggs in?

Why are we even talking about Amon being out...that would be the joke of the century. Just remember Chick.

Winning teams at this end of the year maintain stability. From a selection point of view, I'd much rather be in our position than the Weagles'-- 4 changes after week 1 of the finals (albeit quality players coming back from injury), 2 changes after week 2, and who knows how many they'll ring this week.

We especially want to see changes in their forward line, which has some individual players in form but as a unit remains underconfident against quality defences.

If it is a running type player who misses out, Bevan would be the first one in. If it is a key position type player, Vogels would be the obvious option although Bevan would still remain a distinct possibility.

I'm glad you're not on the selection committee then. Dempster plays consistently good football from limited opportunities.

A generous assessment Goswannie. Perhaps if he was a better player, he might see more of the the ball.

Jolly, might not play because his wife is expecting a child. Why can't we have a week of GF preparations without any drama going on. Last year it was Bazza's tribunal, this year is Jolly's "happy moment".

If we lose Jolly/Doyle who comes in? Vogels and Ted to ruck? Shaw?

Vogels will come in. Goodes and Ted to share the Ruck work around the ground. Hopefully sanity will prevail and Jolly plays

I think Bevan will probably come in regardless and we'd be forced to play Teddy, LRT and Goodes in the ruck. Baz to contest in the forward line

Very very well said, reminds me of a Supertramp album, but that was a crime and not a joke.
