Your boys definitely made us work hard for the win and there's alot to look forward to for the Dockers in the coming seasons.

Yes, I also hope that Freo have further success in the future. I was wrong about Connolly in the past and Mark Harvey has been a great addition to the coaching side. If the Swans win, I'm going over to Freo and I'm expecting to see some red and white around the place...

God love ya ... you're far more gracious than my brother - he abused me for winning, then settled down and became a good little sydney bandwagoner (he is Sydney born & bred)!

I can honestly say I've never met a better set of supporters at a live game.

I saw Luffy in the pub before the game, and he told me to go give it to them so .... I ran around the beer garden twitching my fingers, and calling "here quokka, here quokka" everytime I saw purple. Only one tool told me to f-off. I told him to enjoy his grand final!!

On the train on the way home (hooley dooley Adam Spencer was on OUR train and he's going to the GF - I asked him from about 20 feet away) I chatted with some poor grown-men quokkers with tears in their eyes. God love em ... they were so nice.

Mate, I know the budgie ferals are gunna give you hell this week ... hold your head up high. This year, your team did you PROUD.

Yeah, I must concur (but in a short post.). The Swannies didn't let Freo play their game, and kept vital players under control. If you play like this next week, you're as good as back-to-back. But, of course, you've got to beat them before you take the cup. Good luck, and enjoy the spoils.

I swear, Freo would have to be the masters of kicking arsey goals. Checksides, over-the-head efforts, you name it. If it isn't Pavlich, it is Jeff Farmer, who really gives the impression of having gotten himself back to the player he was when at Melbourne.

I think we will see Freo start to assert themselves as one of the top echelon clubs very very soon.

I drove home a very emotional Dockers man and his very drunk StGeorge Dragons girlfriend (my work colleague) - he was great and I didnt give him any stick. The Freo supporters do seem like a great bunch. I felt for Chris Connolly, he seems like a really good bloke and you hope that they will get there one day.

Coming from England , I don't understand the mentality which allows fans to switch allegiance to bitter rivals on the basis of geographical proximity.
