The saga continues. I'm looking forward to this one.

I agree about the WCE defensive plan today. They looked totally at sea when they played zones. I think the Eagles will be in a lot of doubt how to handle the Swans forward line, no matter what they've taken from their past lessons. Advantage.

But, I am really worried about their midfield, and this time there is no Crouch. Matthews, McVeigh and Ablett vs Judd, Cousins and Kerr?

I can't believe how arrogant Worsfold was after the Crows match. He seems to think this grand final is destined to be the Eagles by saying all they need to do is turn up and play their best...

"We are very confident we can win the game next week. It will be very very tough, but we know we are good enough," he said.

This will be the sweetest victory of all!

And Essendon wonder why they are ordinary. Surely Sheedy's time has come? He is quickly becoming irrelevant.

That's what I thought. Bitter and twisted after 25 years coaching.

              Time to move on sheeds.

The Eagles have one less day - and one more game in the past three weeks. Funny how the Crows just fell of their men after 1/2 time. I doubt we'll do that.

So odds are a bit better than 50:50 our way. Lots better than that if Magic keeps kicking straight.

I'm sure Magic will put on another stellar performance. The Eagles don't have any real good match-ups for him...

The advantages we have over the WCE this week:

                            Extra day's rest
Less travel during last two weeks of final
                            Easier game in Prelim
Played only two games in finals so far

                            Disadvantages:
                            Kerr, Cousins, Judd, Embley, Cox
Those who have the greatest power to hurt us are those we love.

In other words, pretty much the same advantages WCE had over us going into last year's GF.

Except we had the extra day's rest, and neither team had a really easy game in the Prelim, even though we ran away from the Saints in the end.

                                Somehow, I'm still confident.
