    Norm Smith Predictions

Big call, but after last years GF mistake I am tipping Luke Ablett for the Norm Smith.

Just think he his going to be in the zone so can try and bury the memory from last year.

    Your tips?
I will be a member again when I return.

Would he still get it, if he kicks the ball Out on the full when lining up to win the match after the siren for the swans and moons the coach's box?

Good point. They usually finalise their votes with a few minutes to go don't they so he would still be a chance. If not it may depend on if he shaves his arse or not.

as long as its not any westcoast player (Croc head Hunter in particular) then I dont care who gets it. The reserve orange peeler can get it, Dr Nathan Gibbs, purely for his running style just as long as it aint a WC player.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

I backed LRT last year and I got bloody close to paying for my whole trip.

                The obvious:

                Hall, Goodes

                Possible:

                ROK
                MOL

                Roughies:

LRT (No Gardiner to smash this year, though)
Doyle (5 goals drifting into full forward )

From West Coast it would either be Judd or Cox.

My thoughts exactly. I was thinking 25 possessions and 4 goals

I saw great signs on Friday night. He is ready for a blinder.

Out of pure, unadulterated, one-eyed thoughts - Adam Goodes, to go with his second Brownlow and his dual Premiership medal.

Because I am a realist, and because I know the Norm Smith Selectors idolisation of anything Judd - I'd say Judd will win it with 1 kick (not to advantage), 2 Handballs (One to Cousins, who is promptly tackled by NOG and loses the pill) the other handball is for a rushed behind - But Judd will do it SOOOOOOOOOOOO perfectly that everyone agrees he is the Norm Smith winner.

You figure it out - I have no idea.

I'd be really, really happy for Judd to win it again in a losing team.

No he wasn't. He had 29 possessions but only 16 of them found a target and in the entire game he had only two (short) kicks which were marked by Eagles players. That is to say the other 6 kicks which were rated "successful" hit the ground (several times leading to that player being tackled or harrassed out of the ball when they should have been able to mark) and all the rest were ineffective or clangers.

He had several sensational and important clearances (12, I believe) but from this only 3 or 4 possessions found a team mate in a better position.

Buchanan was easily the most important and effective player on the ground and was robbed of the Norm Smith...especially as his most crucial touches were in the fourth quarter.
