    Brett Allan's on 60 minutes

    Maggot.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Just out of interest Annie, have you ever done any sort of stuff where you have to go through the rules and analyse umpiring decisions like an umpiring or coaching course? It's a VERY tough gig and a totally thankless task and it's easy to see why there are umpire shortages around.

Yes, I did actually. I was a netty umpire for seven years.
To be honest, I'd rather umpire AFL than netty ... those netty-heads can be pretty feral (and that's just the mothers).
It's a tough job sure, but he gets over $100K a year for doing it, and has a job as well on the "outside".
