They are just bitter that they are being forced into talking about the Swans for once. Normally they can give it 1 min then move on to the carlton board strife, or why GT was sacked.

It will be interesting to see how the Melbourne media tolerate another Sydney grand final. Last year they were like a paternal auntie who was pleased to see their problem nephew do well. Once it was won, they took some of the credit for originally housing South Melbourne and then expected the universe to re-align itself and continue on as before. I think there is a lot less goodwill this time around as it slowly dawns on them that ALL the interstate teams are 3 streets ahead of the best Melbourne team. We'll soon be in the same "hate" boat as the other non-vic teams. Only difference being we do have a strong supporter base in Victoria.

Be prepared for the anti-Swans media campaign to start spewing forth.
