    ALL ABOARD!!!!!! The Goodes Train.

Biggest congratulations to you Goodesy on your second Brownlow Medal. A terrific achievement for a terrific champion.
Commisserations to Scotty West, as Goodesy said, it would have been great to see a draw and I did feel sorry for him.
But for now, it is on to the Big One and hopefully a matching set of premiership medals to match the Charlies.

    Go you Goodes Thing!
"It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.

    YOU BETCHA!!!!!!

I'm sure it will not be his last.

        Great work Goodesy!

After watching his speech, I sincerely hope Goodes goes into politics after his career finishes. He is a fine man.

Adam I have always said that there will never be another player at the Swans with even half the heart and dedication of Paul Kelly.

I now take those words back and congratulate you on not only being a Champion player but a champion bloke in being so humble and not forgeting your heritage and those that have been behind you.

Swans fans we are so lucky to have a champion player and a Champion team to support - For we've waited long enough.

Now that the individual honours are bestowed let's go in and get the team reward - I want to hear Roosy once again say "Here It Is!!!"

I couldn't make it to 3am or whenever the telecast in Qld finished - anyone able to summarise the Goodes acceptance speech for me?

He said he enjoys nothing more than making his mum happy and hoped that she would be pleased when he showed her his latest medal.

Also thanked his Blood brothers etc...

                    Goodsey,

Well done mate, You've done us all proud. You were by far and away the best this year. Now you and the rest of the guys go on and take us to premiership glory on Saturday.

Goodsey you are a star. Your skills on the field and your maturity and manner off the field are second to none. It was fitting that Paul Kelly presented the medal...2 of the greatest I've ever seen.

P.S. My wife is equally as appreciative seeing I plonked $50 on you for the charlie earlier in the year at odds of 35-1!

                          !
Not bad! You could by one scalped GF ticket with that.
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

That was the plan if I missed out in the GF ticket raffle!

Nope made the mistake of letting the Mrs know and its all been alliocated to the new bubs nursery. She might let me paint a mural of Goodesy on a feature wall seeing he's paid for it!

What a fantastic achievement. First non-Victorian to be a dual medallist.

He could potentially win another or maybe even an unprecedented four medals!

His start to the season was a bit slow, okay but not great. But how fantastic was his second half. He must have polled in 2 out of 3 games from about rd 9. Unbelievable effort (although it does help a little that the rest of the Swans generally don't stand out on a regular basis, except Hall, who rarely polls well).

Truly embodies the meaning of the medal - best AND fairest!!
