What will Roosy say this time?

We all remember Roosey's famous "here it is" line from last year. Any thoughts about what he will say if/when we win this year????

    Perhaps...."hey look Woosher.....bookends"

Or, perhaps if he is lazy..."For those of you who have waited one year for South Melbourne slash Sydney Swans to go back to back....here it is!!!!! "

Any would-be premiership acceptance speech writers out there?

You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

This trend of win one, lose one has to end sometime!

Where is this confidence coming from? I've just got impression that our team aslo might get flogged, because WCE might be more desperate to win than the Swans.

I did ask what he might say if/when we win?

I have been a swans supporter for 40 plus years = generally assume the worst. If I do that now...I wont enjoy this week at all...i will just find all the reasons we might lose and get depressed.

I am not over confident...just enjoying the fact my team is in another Grand Final

              They also might want revenge...

Agree, I think this year we should enjoy it and be a little more upbeat. Last year while I enjoyed the day, I got way to worked up over the whole thing.

It could be another 10 years before we get into another GF and I am going to make sure that I really enjoy this one.

Fair enough! I lost that confidence in 96 GF. I was proud of the team for finishing minor premiers that I refused to notice how poorely they actually played in the finals.

If we don't win, I think he doesn't have to say anything.

Agree - this is a stupid thread - lets win first

Roos' "here it is " will live with me until the day I die

I look at the reasons why the "coolers' may win

                        Hunger/revenge for last year
                        Experience/A better team list

                        Why they will loose

                        Presure/expectation/7 new players/travel

                        Why swans will win

                        Less pressure/mental toughness/crowd support/less travel

                        Why swans may lose

Complacency/week off/skill and pace of opposition

Its all on the day and other factors as luck/bounce of the ball
                        injuries/umpires

                        God I'm getting nervous !!
