Who most qualifies to wear No 14 in the current team

I would lie to see Brett Kirk wear the No 14 - any comments?

How about you? You'd be the first AFL player to have his name on the back of his jumper.

I think we did that in the past to death. That number IMO will be given to a very talented young player, possibly a Rising Star winner.

I don't mind buying a new badge with him and #14 on it.
          Sheesh ... I've already got a 41 & 37!!

I think that Goodes has made number 37 his own.

                Anyone.

Kelly and Skilton weren't champions when they got it - so what's the point in making a big deal about it and putting unnecessary pressure on a player?

Agree 100%. We've got use to the current No.4.

Plugger .... it may only have been "#14" when they got it. IMO Skilton & Kelly made it a champions number. A number which the club (and it's fans, well me, anyway) highly revere.
I don't think it would pressure Goodsey at all to wear it. To me it represents a mark of respect and honour by the club for his achievements on the field. I also think it would be remiss of the club not to make him captain in 2007 (Kirky vice). As you can tell, Goodsey's the man!!

Bart: We'll get used to another 14. Trust me on that one!!

                    Now .... Matt79 ... ROFLMHO. Cheer Cheers!!
