Anyone else emotional?

Last night it really hit me! We are in the grand final!

Today, I'm reading all these stories about Bobby Skilts, the bloods, relocating, plugger going to game, Davo coming back into the fold, Goodesy hugging Kels getting his Charlie, Kirky being captain on the day....and I keep getting all teary and emotional.

It's ridiculous! I will be a mess by Saturday.

don't worry I feel the same way. I must have read and re-read my copy of the book "plugger and the mighty swans" a few hundred times over the past week (will try to buy shake down the thunder asap). I was also very touched when I went to Friday's game at Telstra and met so many Bloods fans of old who had waited a lifetime and we got talking not just about Kenelly and Goodes but also telling them how much I wished I could've seen Bobby Skilton in action.

Don't worry sweetie ... you'll be able to tell your grandchildren you saw Adam Goodes in action and they'll look up at you with awe!!

I'm with you Lucky Knickers. I feel like I'm on the verge of tears and/or hysteria. I know I will be a mess on Saturday because I am a mess now.

Being a natural pessimist, I my mind keeps sliding off with hellish dark thoughts. But I need to keep telling myself that regardless of the result on Saturday, we are experiencing a golden period which we should all treasure. Live for the moment as they say.

Same here. The way everybody (outside Sydney of course) is rating us at the moment somebody would think why are Swans even bothering to show up at the MCG. Very mixed feelings, indeed.

we were always outsiders in 1996 we were in 2005 we were and it got us the cup. maybe being an outsider is a good omen
