Rising Sun Hotel - Sth Melb

I have been trying to remember the name of the pub that I spent a great deal of time in after last years GF having a great evening with fellow proud, passionate and emotional Swans fans, now I finally have.....

It is the Rising Sun Hotel on the corner of Palmerston Cres & Eastern Road in South Melbourne and just off Clarendon Street.

I'll be there afterwards, hope others can join me and "celebrate like it is 1999" as the artist formally known as Prince regularly sings on the jukebox......

    Go Swannies.

NB: Little known fact about Swans/Eagles games. The last six games have been one in Sydney, one in Melbourne and four in blo**y Perth. Sick of all the bull***t re close encounters and how this game will be another epic encounter, me thinks the Swans should be favourites considering the amount of close games there have been in PERTH the last three occasions....
Well somebody told me, You had a boyfriend, Who looks like a girlfriend,That I had in February of last year, It's not confidential, I've got potential

Somebody told me, The Killers, Hot Fuss, 2004.

I agree. I also spent the night last year in Sth Melb and just about every pub (and theres plenty of them) was full with Swans supporters and each was blasting our club song to all hours. The atmosphere was incredible!

We too did the Sth Melbourne pub crawl. Spect a lot of time at The Emerald, and watched the replay. I have photos of my mates and the crowd jumping at Leo's mark, their faces like they were watching it live

I was in Richmond as it was the closest within stumbling of the G. Plenty of red and white though.

I'll be in Canberra of all places this year.

Ha! I did the same thing but ended up on my back side like LRT

Emeralds a great pub, I was further down the road at the Clarendon and later the Golden Gate. I will be heading there for sure come Sat night.
