    Terrys Team of the Week

On WLF Terry Wallace has picked the best 22 from both GF sides.
12 Swans and 10 Eagles made the side

He has also given 3 reasons why we will win

    1. We have the Upper Hand - we won at Subi 2 weeks ago

    2. Eagles been in trouble 3 of the last 5 games

    3. Fresher Legs with the week off.

    Thoughts?
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

I thought that was a very fair summary - especially the fresher legs. That's why I'm more relaxed this year. As I posted earlier - if we lose we go 1:1. If they do, they rival the Pies for choking in recent GFs. And they have been playing nervous footy.

I agree with Go Swannies about being a bit more relaxed this year - and for the same reasons.

But the thing that bothers me is Kerr. He was missing for (most of) the 2005 GF and for the 2006 QF. To me, he could be the difference between winning and losing.

I'd be quite happy if either he, Cousins or Judd got injured early on. Not that I usually barrack for injuries but WC having 3 of these guys is too much and knocking one off would be much fairer.

I just watched the QF again and I think we have the structure to beat them. I know we played badly just a few weeks ago but I think we've got the better finals coaches.

Either Wirra out or in and injured is in our favour - he's great at the instant rebound (though Adam S did well against him).

I dont feel as nervous about the GF this year as I did last year, however that may be because I'm not at work and have focussed my mind on other things. That may change tomorrow when I fly to Melbourne. I also think that having won it last year has taken some pressure off which I hope will help the team.

Add in our forward line in form, Kerrs possessions aren't as damaging and often are handballs. Trick is to stay with recipient. We actually have the potential to win by a few if they all fire again
