    Rocket's verdict: West Coast

If your head isn't spinning after this then it never will...

Rocket seems to have most things right. Looks like this Grand Final could be decided in the coaches' box.

That's alright. He'd probably just prefer to go into the pre-season having lost to the eventual Premiers.

Credit where credit is due - he's a very good tactician. What he managed with the dogs this year is nothing short of brilliant IMO.

Interested that he put Wirrapanda with Monty rather than Schneids.

He could be right, especially if one of their big enigmas, like Q Lynch, start taking their marking chances and kicking straight.

Hey don't get me wrong... I love Rocket.. I reckon he was one of the best things that happened to the Swans....

However... talk about a master for stating the obvious...

"If they can move the ball quickly, try not to be cute and enter their 50 arc more than 50 times they will win, otherwise the Sydney pressure will force them into error"

Any team that goes inside 50 more than 50 times is a fair crack at winning any game!!

If they go in 50 times, I'm hoping we go in over 100 times!! I wonder how that factors in to Rocket's equation???

I think Barassi wa a great think, and now Roos is. Rocket's style was not positive: he dragged players for making mistakes, and he yelled at them like an idiot at every change. He worked off Barassi's good work, and I could never agree that he was "one of the best things" that happened to the team.

I'll take the laid back Roos any day! Gawd I love that man!

I think Rocket's prediction is a pretty safe one. No bold predictions really... we'll show his final verdict wrong on Sdaturday, i hope!

Mike, I can't agree with you. Rocket's record was sensational given where the club had been in the 6-7 years before he took over.

He turned us into a regular finals side.

I'm not suprised at his verdict. I didn't expect otherwise. Majority of people tip on a previous week performance. Obviously, WCE was more impressive than Swans, so naturaly everybody is backing them up. I'm sure that more than 60% of populataion around Australia believes the same.

Walls was leaning more towards the Swans because of last week's performance.

I'm with you Mike. Eade had some absolute superstars when he was coaching us.

Barassi set it up for him.

Very interesting read, and I think he has almost all the matchups spot on.

Nah - he'll still pick West Coast.

On the continuum between West Coast winning by a lot and the Swans winning by a lot, I think he was somewhere near the former, but now he's nearer West Coast winning by a little.

If stating the obvious was a crime then most of RWO would be locked up (myself included ).

As for Rocket's analysis - I get excited just reading about it.
