Swans team news - Jolly ?

Can someone please confirm a radio report I have just been made aware of that the Swans have left Sydney minus Darren Jolly ? It is rumoured his wife is in labour ?

I have NO details - at this stage, just a rumour ...

Didn't someone say they were on a 6:15pm flight?

        Mrs Jolly is in labour

Just announced on SEN that Darrens wife has gone into labour, thus he wont be on the plane to Melbourne tonight. According to SEN good news for all, hopefully the baby will be born before the first bounce tomorrow. Good luck Darren and hopefully a short labour for Mrs J.

          Wow - it was early!

Lucky it wasn't this time tomorrow or Saturday.

            Crazy!

I thought this was going to be a bad joke.

Anyway, if the baby is born sayyyyy late morning on Saturday what is Jolly going to do?
That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

Hope it isn't a 36 hour labour, or worse, a false labour like my wife went through.

If it's a long labour would hate to think how much sleep Jolly gets before the game.

Anyway good luck to the Jolly household, been there it's the best thing - Yeah even better than a Premiership (Didn't think I'd ever say anything is better but there you have it).

Of course its better than a premiership... life changing moments they are.

However, think about the cloud he'll be on when he gets to Melbourne should everything go smoothly!

Could very well spur him on even more!

I really don't think they'd let the labour go for 36 hours - that rarely happens these days. If it's progressing too slowly I'm sure they'll speed it up artificially.

I still can't believe, with the knowledge that the family has a history of going two weeks early, they thought they'd timed it right

Wishing all the best to the Jollys and the safe arrival of a 60cm young lad

Have to agree. I have two girls and there is nothing like
                        it.

Personally I though that labour sucked and I was only watching it (for a day). If that's the best day of your life, you must have somone stabbing you in the eye with a pencil and burning the roof of your mouth with hot pizza cheese daily.

By the way wonder how I can contact the Jolly's - Another on the way for us but due in mid November - wasn't going to have it interfere with my Grand Final plans - Mr. Jolly???

                            Good Luck again mate.

I can practically guarantee that he will have a pretty ordinary game on Saturday. Childbirth is exchausting for fathers too.

Anyway, can't be helped congrats to him and his partner.
