Everyone is saying it will be West Coast.

On all the media the majority of commentators say it will be the Eagles. Also the odds at the agencies have them as favourites.

Last year proved that the above doesn't mean much - I hope our guys can prove everyone WRONG AGAIN!!!!!

You mean it will be the Eagles who lose?

The commentators (and many others) will be blind to the simple comparison between the two teams, due to their view that it's pretty hard to win back-to-back premierships.

    Don't worry about it.

    We'll smash 'em!
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

Who cares what the commentators have to say, I'm expecting the Eagles fans to endure a very long and winding trip back to Perth, especially for Daniel...
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

        fine by me.

they've got the talent that looks great in the highlight reel and on paper. we've got the structure and flexibility that is a little less tangible.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

The reason all these commentators are giving is Judd, Cousins, Kerr, Cox, Lynch.

Not much being mentioned about the other 17 players. That's why I like the Swans chances, plus no one seems to rate Hall, MOL, ROK, Goodes up there with the West Coast superstars. We are so under-rated its not funny.

I think that footy followers believe that the Eagles and Worsfold in particular have learnt something from our qualifying win - Mainly to try and shut down our open forward line, eg. drop Cox back into the backline.

I though believe that Worsfold has got undying faith in his plan (usually works) and as such will persevere with his structure, which could have a (hopefully) detrimental effect on their chances.

And these are the same commentators that said at the start of the year we wouldn't make the finals.

Either way it's valuable to the Swans.

If the Swans were faced with sticking with a plan that has obvious flaws or changing to a plan that the players aren't experienced with I'd be concerned.

Eagles being favorites is the way I like it. Takes the pressure off us.

We always play better when we are expected to lose!! I get very nervous when most are tipping us (think back to Geelong...)
